These terms govern your use of the Inbox OCD desktop application and the inboxocd.com website ("Inbox OCD", "we", "us"). By installing or using Inbox OCD you agree to them.
1. What Inbox OCD is
Inbox OCD is a desktop email client that connects to your own Gmail and Microsoft Outlook accounts, with your permission, and runs locally on your computer. Inbox OCD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Microsoft.
2. Your accounts and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for complying with Google's and Microsoft's own terms of service.
- Email you compose, schedule, or send through Inbox OCD is sent from your account, under your name. You are responsible for what you send.
- You agree not to use Inbox OCD for spam, unlawful activity, or to access accounts you do not own or administer.
3. Local data
Inbox OCD stores its data (tokens, rules, settings, action history) on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Optional AI features
AI features require an API key you supply for a third-party provider. Your use of that provider is governed by their terms and pricing, and you are responsible for any charges they bill you.
5. Beta software
Inbox OCD is currently beta software. Features may change, break, or be removed. Back up anything important. Where a Inbox OCD action affects your real mailbox, we design actions to be reversible or opt-in — but you use automation features at your own risk.
6. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Inbox OCD on devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits it regardless of this term.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
Inbox OCD is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Inbox OCD will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will not misfile, delay, or fail to send a message.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business, arising from your use of Inbox OCD. Our total liability for any claim relating to Inbox OCD is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).
9. Termination
You may stop using Inbox OCD at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its account access. We may suspend or discontinue the software or these terms' license if you breach them.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Inbox OCD after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
